Nollywood actor Uche Odoputa who was at the centre of a drug offence saga has gotten another chance and is likely getting a fresh start to life.
Recall he was arrested with cocaine at the MMIA on March 23, 2007 on his way to London and was sentenced to jail.
In this fresh year 2017 ,he talks about the events that led to his arrest and is glad to have a second chance at his home,the Nigerian Nollywood film industry.
Uche Odoputa who plays the role 'Chief Livinus' in popular TV series, 'Husband of Lagos' has shared that he regrets his actions and he also expressed joy to be given a second chance to correct his mistakes.
Speaking on why he chose to push drugs,he said he was open to the drug trafficking offer because he thought he could drastically change his living conditions bearing in mind he wasn't getting any substantial movie roles and he could not afford to feed or house himself and his family.
He mentioned that although his colleagues abandoned him then for obvious reasons, he doesn’t hold it against them as it was a time for him to learn a lesson.
