Diabetes can lead to a variety of complications. Veteran Nollywood actor Obi Madubogwu has developed such complications especially in his leg.
If you notice, his legs has always been bandaged but the doctors have recently removed the bandaged on his leg. It is really pathetic to see that his leg is filled with deep wounds. He must have been going through a lot.
A closer look at his leg will tell you that this is not a lower level of diabetes. It looks more like one suffering from diabetics foot ulcers that may have been caused by Diabetes mellitus.
Foot problems are a big risk. It has always been advised that anyone with diabetes should monitor their feet because If you don't, the consequences can be severe, including amputation.
The actor has recently expressed his heart felt thanks to those Nigerians who helped him out financially, physically and spiritually . He also urged them not to give up on him but to help him to complete the final stage of the treatment which is flying out to a US hospital.
Check out the sore in his legs and you will agree that he really needs the help of well meaning Nigerians.
