This is not the first time rapper Wale is showing irritation with the music industry.
In April 2016, after the news of singer Prince’s death surfaced, some trolls made potshots at him, saying they would rather he died than Prince. “I should have played college football and graduated college,” he said of the hate, “than to wake up to this daily.”
Now, he is talking “This music industry will take your soul then make you want [to] leave,” he wrote. “Niggas don’t respect humble, niggas don’t respect intelligence. They’ll ask for ‘this or that’ and you deliver it they’ll say it never happened. They’ll kill you and then worship you when you gone. Let me air out some people, it’ll make headlines,” he continued, adding, “Let me uplift some people it’ll get buried quicker than u can say ‘leanmollyxan.”
