Javier-Mascherano agrees to Juventus deal
According to Spanish Local newspaper Mundo Deportivo the Argentina international, who was brilliant for Barca as they won the double, was mulling over his future as the Nou Camp club searched for a big-money central defender.
The Argentina international has converted himself into one of the world’s best central defenders after arriving from Liverpool as a defensive midfielder.
However, Barcelona have offered €90 million for Juventus’ Paulo Dybala. The Argentine forward enjoyed a superb season with the Italian giants, scoring 23 goals in all competitions after joining from Palermo last summer.
The source reports that Dybala’s form has impressed Barcelona manager Luis Enrique sufficiently for a bid to be lodged, though the Camp Nou outfit will have to raise their offer if they are to add the 22-year-old to their team. However, Juventus have reportedly rejected the Barcelona’s offer.
