Wike while laying the foundation said the phase two of the Mile One Market complex will be expanded to check street trading.

Those in attendance at the event included the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Dabo Adams and Chairman MCC, Senator John Mbata

Rumuwoji Market, popularly known as Mile one market in Port Harcourt was under intense pressure of traders seeking for shop space in every available corner within it, thereby altering and defacing the original master plan of the market.

Meanwhile, the Rivers state governor may have courted fresh trouble following a recent revelation by a Port Harcourt-based lawyer, Charles Aholu.

According to the lawyer, Wike allegedly spent N450 million on the three luxury vehicles he just acquired as mobile offices.
