Award winning YBNL music artist Adekunle Gold, few weeks ago got a surprise from an aged woman in Lagos while conducting an interview on the street. Enjoying the fortunate and fame his hit single Sade, is bringing to him Adekunle Gold has come out to disregard false information about a new alleged to be his own.

It has gotten to the ears that there is a new song alert ‘Omolade’ which was released by The Bridge is currently circulating claiming that the song is owned by Adekunle Gold. Refuting the rumour, the YBNL artist in a press statement released by his media aide BukiHQ Media in person of Mr. Immauel Odeyemi, Adekunle raises alarm saying people should disregard this false information.

He said: “It has come to my notice that a song titled ‘Omolade’ by The Bridge is circulating online and is being tagged my new single. Please disregard this false information. The song is a cover to Flavour’s ‘Ada Ada’ which was recorded in 2013 (three years ago), when I was a member of The Bridge (a boy band). Please also note that whenever I have a new song ready for releaset, I will announce it myself through any of my social media handles. Thank you.”

Adekunle Gold, who was born into a royal family in Lagos state, holds a Higher National Diploma in Arts and Design after graduating from Lagos State Polytechnic. He wrote his first song as a teen after he joined as a member of the junior church choir he was attending and went on to write his first song at the age of 15-years.
